Description
A three piece sterling silver coffee set by Tiffany & Co with an unusual chased detailed surface and a reticulated band joining the spout to the body. The inscription on the base of the coffee pot reads : Thaw 1902 with a conjoined monogram. The monogram is that of Mary Copley Thaw. The coffee set was probably an engagement gift to her son Josiah Copley Thaw who married Mary Harrrington Thomson in 1903.
