Description
An antique Japanese silver set of a variety of silver figural salt and peppers in a lacquered presentation chest in perfect unused condition. The silver salts take on the form of a variety of Japanese implements and chariots in remarkable detail. Aside from the lid which opens on the hinge there are three drawers fitted with silver salts as can be seen in the pictures. The corners of the lid and the clasp have decorative brass caps and the clasp has a turtle on the front. We have the original brass key.
