A most unusual antique American coin silver chased egg coddler with two hinged doors that open out to reveal an internal cruet for boiled eggs. There are two lion head and ring handles on the sides of the box. Clear marks on the base “Ball Tompkins & Black, New York”. Never monogrammed.
