A small early Indian silver swan shaped antique box with hinged lid and gold washed feathers. On the hinged lid and on the edge of the base there is some hand scratched engraved text in a foreign language. A note found inside mentions Indian silver reference books. No hallmarks.
This is a small pill box sized item measuring 2″ to the top of the head of the swan.
