Description
A rare and important sterling silver hand hammered mixed metals pitcher with tray. The cast inserted panels show the four seasons. Date letter for 1880. Another identical pitcher is in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. The shape of the pitcher is square with the naturalistic branch handle applied to one corner.
