Gorham Mixed Metals Sterling Tureen
Description
An important Gorham mixed metal tureen and undertray. The hand hammered sterling silver tureen has multiple copper applications depicting flowers, leaves, chickens, birds, butterflies, crabs, fish and globules of sand in the Japanese style. The double handles are wrapped in silver wire. In addition to the Gorham marks, there is a date letter N for 1881.
