Description
An antique American coin silver butter dish by Gorham with lion finial. The liner is hand pierced with a star formation. Marked with the retailer Shreve Stanwood & Co. The oval dome is hand engraved and has block letter monograms in both cartouches. A heavy butter dish in excellent condition. The rampant lion is holding a shield.
