H6992 Four Piece Gorham Sterling Tea Set

A four piece hand hammered Gorham sterling silver tea set of square form, circa 1883, with chased floral decoration, panels along the bottom half of the pieces and naturalistic Japanese bamboo handles and spout. Height of pot 6 1/4" to the finial and 9" across the handle and spout. All pieces are monogrammed on the underside and dated 1898. Hallmarked with the Gorham logo, sterling, 1580 and P date letter for 1883. Combined weight 53.40 troy ounces.
