741 Superb Continental Carving Set

Circa 1870

A two piece antique carving set with steel blades and the most amazing figural handles. The partially gilded handles are engraved with crests and monograms and have a fine textured surface in mint condition. The figures are set in an alcove on the handles and are neo classical in design. There is a boar's head below the figures. The handles measure 4 3/4" in length and the knife 13". The fork measures 10 3/4" in length. Unmarked.
