A large 13 1/2" tall hallmarked sterling silver bust of Queen Victoria marked London 1900 and marked with the mark of Goldsmiths and Silversmiths, London. In excellent condition and with good detail showing the Queen at the height of her symbolic importance during the Anglo-Boer War in South Africa. A most impressive and large piece with a huge presence, probably from a posh club or government institution. The height given with the ebonized base, the bust alone measures approximately 9" tall.
