A rare maker, active around 1904, Matthews and Prior was located in New York, NY. This pitcher is decorated with lily pads and water lilies in high relief and with remarkable detail. The water lilies on the body are three dimensional and the leaves highly chased with detail. Excellent condition and lovely patina.
