BP Dominick & Haff Mixed Metals Cannister Circa 1879

An unusual Dominick & Haff antique sterling and mixed metals cannister for tea or tobacco with a hammered surface throughout. Applied copper plants and butterflies on the dome shaped pull off lid. Very well preserved gold wash lining. A substantial cannister weighing 10.65 troy oz and measuring 4 1/2" at the finial.
