Asprey Sterling Silver Caviar Container

An unusual and one of a kind sterling silver caviar container by Asprey of Bond Street hallmarked 1978, London. The oval base has four applied cast dolphin feet and two hinged cast shell form handles that raise for lifting. The pull off lid has a detailed sturgeon as the finial. The liner is heavily gilded and pulls out. Matching spoon clips into the lid for storage. Weight: 98.4 troy oz. L 12" H 6 1/4". Spoon 7 3/4"
